Temporary, ongoing position providing 1 st and 2 nd line support as part of an IT Service for a large establishment. This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Main duties: - Provide a polite and professional customer focused IT service - Log, actively respond to and resolve, technical issues via the helpdesk system - Keep users informed on the progress of IT requests and escalate problems or high priority calls - Install, configure, and maintain IT related hardware / software - Support the IP telephone system including installation and basic troubleshooting of handset or cabling faults - Maintain and support AV equipment including interactive whiteboards, projectors etc We are looking for someone with previous experience in a first line support role. Knowledge of MS packages, Active Directory, troubleshooting and networking.
