Job Description

An award winning, rapidly growing, Digital Health business are recruiting for a Senior Full Stack Developer to work on an ambitious data solution, which shows extraordinary innovation in the field of healthcare.

You will support the data science team in building this data intensive, web-based product. They are currently at the inception stage of the project so you will be involved from start to finish, and have the autonomy to shape the direction of the solution using cutting-edge technology such lambda, containerization etc.

As an organization they use TypeScript heavily, as well as AWS and it's associated products, so these are key requirements for a suitable candidate - Python skills would be beneficial due to the interaction with the Data Science team, but this is not essential. As this is early days, the 'tech stack' is not necessarily set in stone, what is required is someone who is a highly competent developer, with a great attitude and willingness to learn.

An example of the kind of technologies you could be exposed to are JavaScript (React, Node), TypeScript, MongoDB, Amazon Redshift, Docker, AWS, Python, C#, among others …. This is an example, and the actual technologies will be dictated by your input into delivering the application.

Outside of the technical requirements, candidates must be able to demonstrate in the healthcare sector, or at least your interest to build technology for 'good'.

Along with a competitive salary, you will be offered, but not limited to, a market-leading holiday allowance, generous pension scheme, the opportunity to pursue skill development for personal interests, but most importantly ….. a chance to work for a company who can make a difference!

The offices are based in Central Manchester with excellent transport links and free onsite parking, however, the mantra is that flexible and remote working is encouraged, the only restriction is that the ability to communicate effectively is maintained.

If you are looking to work on a project from start to finish, have a keen interest in utilizing data, and want to work for a company who can provide meaningful change in societal health, please apply or call (phone number removed) to discuss further.
