Elevation HR are working closely with a growing and ambitious charity who are looking to engage with a strategic Diversity leader in a new and exciting role. Please note this role is fully remote and your workload can be managed from home.
This is a genuine and truly exciting opportunity to lead organisational change and enable the organisation to realise their ambitions to become more diverse and fully inclusive: there are high levels of commitment but support is required to develop and implement the approach.
This is a brand new role and you will be working closely with the executive team and Board of Trustees. You will influence across the organisation, leading the work to develop an integrated strategy for diversity and inclusion, both in the internal and external work and be a major influence with key takeholders.

The ideal candidate will need to be willing and able to work strategically and tactically, acting as leader and as practitioner, adapting as the circumstances demand. Flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in will be key to success.
Your key responsibilities will be:
*Strategic planning and leadership
*Influencing and delivering through others
*Monitoring and evaluation and embedding a culture of continuous improvement
*Working internally and externally
You will have experience of developing and delivering strategic plans for diversity and inclusion, an excellent knowledge of diversity and inclusion legislation, including emerging good practice and trends in diversity and inclusion work. The ability to inspire, inform, support and challenge a range of colleagues, enabling them to become leaders for inclusion
alongside the ability to lead and to build strong relationships, managing complex and sometimes challenging conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
You will be able to generate ideas, proposals and initiatives that deliver measurable change, collate and interpret complex, sensitive and contentious information from a range of sources and to use this to drive change. You will have the capabilities to be able to facilitate and evaluate training and wider development that encourages individual and team learning and increases knowledge and skills in diversity and inclusion.
