Magento Developer- Permanent- £50,000 - £55,000- Remote
We are looking for an excellent Magento Developer to join the team at our E-Commerce development agency client. This is a great chance to join a team of 20+ Magento developers and architects to assist the agencies clientele in developing truly bespoke E-Commerce solutions. In light of the current pandemic, my client has seen increasing demand for their E-Commerce services and looks to expand their team substantially moving forward.

On a day to day basis you will work alongside the E-Commerce Manager to develop solutions for their clients, both prospective and existing. This role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Magento Developer, who has a proven track record of understanding a client's requirements and translating this into an integral component within their business.

Responsibilities

*Communicate regularly with project managers to provide understanding of technical requirements, processes and dependencies
*Perform maintenance development and correction of identified bugs (Magento 1 and Magento 2).
*Investigate, analyse and document reported bugs.
*Perform coding to written technical specifications for bespoke Magento 2 projects.
*Implement front-end changes
*Provide support and mentoring to the rest of the team and assist with code reviews
*Provide and design REST APIs for consumption by other internal development teams
*Help remove blockers for the rest of the Backend team

Experience

*Magento 2 development experience.
*Expert knowledge of PHP and MySQL, including EAV data structures.
*JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and/or Prototype.
*Knowledge of GIT
*Experience of developing, supporting and maintaining complex, scalable web applications.
*Experienced with Magento 1 and Magento 2
*Good attention to detail in work
*Good experience with Unix shell environment
*Experience with Adobe products is preferred.
