We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Manager UKI to join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, Property & Facilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of electrical and mechanical maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing equipment efficiencies, across our five COMAH locations.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ Lead and coordinate the maintenance team to achieve objectives
+ Perform and coordinate internal employees and external contractors to carry out planned maintenance activities on all manufacturing equipment, engineering plant and supporting sites
+ Approve purchase orders for replacement spare parts, external services
+ Manage the accurate stocking and control of the maintenance spares
+ Carry out effective fault-finding and corrective actions in the event of equipment failures
+ Support the engineering projects team in the appropriate design, specification, installation and integration of all new assets
+ Mange the pipework and tank inspection program
+ Participating in building engineering procedures
+ Participation in Capex planning and completion
+ Management of the CMMS (computer maintenance management system)

The ideal candidate must have experience of lean manufacturing systems and PPM systems also, must be able and willing to lead and develop a team of technicians. The ability to communicate both verbally and written to all levels of the business is essential. A good awareness of Health and Safety is critical because being ‘Serious about Safety’ is a core value of our Organisation. For this position there is a requirement to work at other company locations therefore a full driving license is essential.
