PR Account Director – B2B and B2C Technology - Hybrid Remote
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm 37.5 Hours Per Week
Hybrid working – 2 days at our Leatherhead, Surrey office, 3 days working from home

Key Accountabilities will include:
+ Accountability for accurate technical press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
+ Overseeing pitching of press releases and feature ideas
+ Creating, building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, journalists and industry contacts
+ Formulating business strategy in conjunction with other Directors
+ Developing the agency's offerings; pitching and winning new business as well as growing existing client accounts by selling additional projects and services, as well as leading and motivating a proactive team to achieve coverage for clients through the maintaining of high-level media contacts
+ Making strategic decisions and provide expert counsel - both to the client and team - based on your own expertise and understanding of client’s needs
+ Fully managing the budgets for each account
+ Fully managing the process of press release distribution for accounts, including list-building using the agency’s database system
+ Planning events with account teams
+ Handling or oversee clients’ social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn channels
+ Managing and develop the skills of team members, providing support and inspiration to them and the wider team.
+ Coaching and running training sessions for junior members of the team in the basic principles of PR and account management
+ Have circa 5 years’ PR/Marketing experience working at a senior level within a PR Agency.
+ Be Degree Educated ideally in Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communication and Media Studies
+ Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English as well as having a creative flair for producing engaging, accurate and technical copy
+ Be proficient in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, social media channels and other business-related software
+ Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively both internally and externally. Able to demonstrate a strategic, consultative, analytical and problem-solving approach.
+ Have strong interpersonal skills.
+ Have excellent organisation skills.
+ Be experienced in managing a team member/team to a high standard by motivating, leading, developing and inspiring the team: you will have two direct reports.
+ Have a proven track record of successfully implementing PR campaigns for a range of clients. Demonstrate a deep understanding and passion for technology and business.
+ You’ll really impress us if you are fluent in French, Italian, Spanish or German.
Your Experience / Background / Previous Roles May Include: PR Senior Account Manager or PR Account Director.
