We are in the market for a Senior Magento Developer to join a business that are thriving globally, they are based out of Gloucester.
You'll be joining as senior within a team of web developers, providing technical advice and valuable input on decisions.
You will be joining a hugely progressive company making waves in their markets.
We require the successful candidate to develop major features and maintain existing ones. To do this, you'll need to know the codebase inside-out, and be confident with developing for Magento 2. You will also use your Magento and software development expertise to occasionally assist the Tech Lead with improving our team's efficiency and effectiveness via new software, tools, processes, etc.
We need people that can write clean, efficient code that meets the project's quality standards.
Review pull requests from other developers to ensure they meet the tech team's quality standards, and that it's the correct approach to the feature/problem.
The business is constantly evolving, with my client constantly adapting to utilise new features so the ability to push boundaries is key.
We are looking for candidates that are able to work remotely, full hardware and software will be provided. There will be the necessity for some site visits to the Gloucester Headquarters when particular events happen, this will be limited and plenty of notice will be given.

Key experience required:
o 2 years' experience solely working with Magento 2
o Solid PHP-orientated background
o Experience working in software development teams and know how they operate
o Know Magento 2 inside-out and how to make a website flourish with it
o Ability to write future-proof, performance-driven code
o Knowledge of defining technical requirements which assist the team, whilst meeting the stakeholders' expectations
o Excellent interpersonal skills - you must be tightly-knit with the team and ensure they feel comfortable coming to you for help
o Comfortable going against the grain, willing to challenge existing norms
o Enthusiastic about the success of the team and website
o You are independent and self-directed but able to work with a team of developers
o A quick learner who can process lots of information and prioritise action
o Are an outcomes-focused lead, with strong team orientation
