They provide online teaching and learning resources that empower hundreds of thousands of teachers and students worldwide🌟

Their cutting-edge online auto-marked homework and revision system enables teachers to work more efficiently, saving them precious hours each week, whilst giving students the power to take control of their own revisionπŸ“–

 

Responsibilities:

  • Improve existing features and develop new ones πŸ› οΈ
  • Write clear, tested code with an emphasis on security, data protection, scalability, and performance πŸ”πŸ“ˆ
  • Collaborate with designers/UX professionals to refine solutions 🎨
  • Monitor and enhance their infrastructure πŸ—οΈ
  • Assist customer-facing staff with technical inquiries πŸ’¬
  • Optimise and eliminate performance bottlenecks πŸš€
  • Stay updated on relevant technologies and industry trends πŸ“šπŸŒ
  • Identify and fix bugs 🐞

Requirements:

  • Excellent modern JavaScript skills (Vue.js preferred, React or similar considered) 🌐
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL πŸ’ͺ
  • Experience with MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, or similar) πŸ—οΈ
  • Basic DevOps knowledge (AWS, Terraform) ☁️
  • Solid understanding of version control using Git πŸ“‚
  • Good grasp of software design, OOP, and design patterns πŸ—οΈ
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills πŸ’¬
