Coordinator within our Pathway College (flexible working)QA Higher Education Permanent operations roleJob: This position is offered as a 0.6 annualised hours contract, providing flexibility with your working schedule while ensuring a stable annual income. About our role: As a member of the student and academic support team, you will coordinate and contribute to the provision of professional services within the Pathway College.You will co-ordinate activities associated with administration, student support, communication and team work within a Higher Education Environment at the QAHE Pathway College in Northumbria University.You will cultivate relationships with students, University stakeholders and Pathway staff enabling the provision of excellent student service and experience. Essential: Good IT, Word, and Excel skillsHere's a flavour of what's involved:To develop and maintain consistent and accurate monitoring, reporting, and providing feedback on the activities associated with student induction, attendance, academic performance, and assessment submission.Acting as first point of contact to staff, students and stakeholders for all queries concerning compliance matters.Providing tailored advice to staff and students on relevant changes to legislation/policy which may affect the eligibility of for sponsorship following reference to multiple sources of guidance, identifying when to escalate issues for discussion and approval.Up to date with changes to immigration policy and legislation and apply these with high accuracy to day-to-day immigration queries and issues. Assisting the Immigration and Compliance Manager with internal and external training and briefing sessions, communications, and input into policy papers for both internal committees and external bodies. Ensure that all engagement tracker data is recorded and up to date for sponsored and non-sponsored student reporting purposes.Ensure that timetables are amended appropriately to reflect day/weekly changes and communicated to relevant staff and students.Supervise and coordinate the work plans of teams within the designated areas, and ensure these teams work successfully to agreed outcomes, collaborating as necessary with University Services and Faculties across the University. develop processes and procedures alongside the Head of Student and Academic Support to ensure the highest level of customer service is being given be it by phone, email, or face to faceBring your experience:Sound administrative experience preferably within the education sectorExperience of multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescaleExperience of managing and prioritising workloadExcellent communication skillsExcellent literacy, numerical skills and Excel skillsTeam playerFlexible and adaptable to changeWell organised and methodicalA little more about us: QA is one of the largest learning services organisations in the UK, developing skills and capabilities for everyone from apprentices to business leaders.
