I use a power wheelchair to get around, I also have a folding wheelchair (that can go in a car) that can be used to take me out to social places, if I can’t get to the place easily with my powerchair. I have numerous long-term health conditions that cause me chronic pain, fatigue and a vast number of other symptoms. Due to this, I tire very easily and often find my pain difficult to live with. Small amounts of activity can overwhelm me very quickly. In order to manage my conditions, I have to focus on pacing myself and making the best of what little energy I have.
