This is a brand-new role and a unique opportunity to inherit a very loyal client portfolio, primarily made up of motor trade combined risks, as well as a small number of general commercial clients, premiums ranging from circa £5k to £100k +. Our client is a very well-respected independent insurance brokerage, long established with a low staff turnover and an enviably high level of client retention. They have an excellent team at HQ in Yorkshire providing excellent broking, admin and claims support. Due to the consistent growth of the business, one of the senior members of the team is looking to pass a significant chunk of his client portfolio to a "safe pair of hands" Account Executive, who can continue his good work whilst looking for opportunities to grow the book going forward.
