Payroll Consultant (Fully Remote/Temporary Assignment)

Location: Fully remote
Rate: 16 to 20 per hour PAYE dependent on experience
Contract: Ongoing temporary assignment

Reed Accountancy are supporting a South West based employer who is looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is fully remote and supports UK payroll for circa 150 employees in partnership with an outsourced payroll provider.

You will be responsible for managing and preparing payroll data, ensuring accuracy across all information provided to the external provider, and supporting the wider payroll function. This role suits someone who is comfortable adapting to different payroll systems and processes. Experience with Workday would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting end to end UK payroll processing for approximately 150 employees
• Preparing, validating and submitting payroll data to an outsourced payroll provider
• Managing day to day payroll operations
• Handling payroll queries and completing general payroll administration
• Ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong data integrity
• Assisting with testing of new integrated expense process

About You

• Experience in UK payroll processing
• Confident working with different payroll systems and processes
• Workday experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote role
• Available for ongoing temporary cover
