Reed Finance are currently seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager on behalf of our client, offering a competitive salary of circa £65,000. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of a dynamic finance function and play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. This is a Hybrid role based in Scunthorpe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead the finance team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Take full ownership of the management accounts process, delivering timely and insightful reporting.
- Prepare and maintain robust cashflow forecasts to support business planning.
- Handle large and complex data sets, applying advanced Excel skills (including Power Query, PivotTables, and VBA) to enhance reporting and analysis.
- Act as a strategic business partner to operational and commercial teams, providing financial insight and support.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis to explain financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, managing audit processes and ensuring compliance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant, part-qualified or QBE
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial systems and ERP platforms (desirable)
