Senior Compliance - Remote

Job Description

Hybrid or Remote

Make an impact in a truly global compliance function

We're working with a growing, international organisation in a highly regulated environment that is looking to appoint a Senior Compliance Associate to join its Legal & Compliance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys operating at the heart of a business, working collaboratively across functions and jurisdictions, and playing a key role in strengthening and evolving group-wide compliance frameworks. You'll support the Group Compliance Manager and work closely with Compliance Managers, Legal colleagues and business teams across Europe and the US.

If you're motivated by responsibility, exposure, and the opportunity to influence how compliance operates at scale, this role offers real breadth and visibility.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Associate, you'll take delegated responsibility for the development, execution and oversight of operational compliance procedures, supporting group-wide compliance frameworks and subject-matter programmes.

Your role will include:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert, reviewing and responding to compliance enquiries and escalations
  • Designing, implementing and managing operational procedures within assigned compliance areas
  • Maintaining systems and tools that support key compliance frameworks
  • Developing and delivering compliance communications and training materials
  • Supporting core compliance programmes, such as AML, Data Protection, Conduct & Ethics
  • Managing registers, records, team folders and CRM updates
  • Supporting Data Protection Office activities
  • Producing management information and ad-hoc reporting
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
  • Managing your own workload to meet deadlines, quality and productivity targets

What we're looking for

You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and confident taking ownership of your responsibilities.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Experience in a compliance, risk, legal or regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance risk management and compliance systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior colleagues
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and adapt to change

Why apply?

  • Be part of a global, collaborative compliance team
  • Gain exposure across jurisdictions and senior stakeholders
  • Enjoy a hybrid, flexible working model
  • Take on a role with real responsibility and influence
  • Join an organisation that values learning, development and continuous improvement

If you're looking to deepen your compliance experience in a role that offers challenge, variety and visibility - this could be a great next step.
