Commercial / Sales Manager Shipping & Logistics
Location: Remote (UK) with travel
Salary: Circa £40,000 Bonus + Benefits
A dynamic and growing joint venture in the shipping and logistics sector is seeking a Commercial / Sales Manager to drive business growth across the UK market. .
The Role
This is a results-driven commercial role focused on developing new business, managing key accounts, and increasing container volumes within the UK. You will play a key part in shaping the company s market presence, building strong customer relationships, and delivering revenue growth in line with strategic targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow the UK customer base, driving sales and revenue
- Manage and expand key client accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Handle sales enquiries and provide competitive pricing solutions
- Maintain and utilise CRM systems to manage customer relationships
- Lead sales campaigns and marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercial success
About You
- Proven background in commercial sales (ideally within shipping/logistics)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven with a proactive, ambitious approach
- Experience managing customer accounts and pipelines
- Knowledge of global trade routes and pricing structures (desirable)
Requirements
- UK driving licence
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must have previous freight experience
