An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Independent Financial Adviser to join a well-established financial planning business based in London.

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a high-quality client bank while also benefiting from a strong internal marketing function that generates consistent new business opportunities. The firm is seeking an adviser who is confident managing both existing relationships and developing new client opportunities in a balanced, structured environment.

You will be taking on a proportion of an established client base, supported by a full paraplanning and administration team, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality financial advice and building long-term relationships.

The client base consists of high-quality private clients, typically segmented across:

• £250,000 - £500,000

• £500,000 - £1,000,000

• £1,000,000+

This provides an excellent platform for an adviser looking to work with established wealth while continuing to grow their own book over time.

The Opportunity

This role offers a balanced mix of business development and ongoing client servicing, with responsibilities split approximately:

• 50% New Business Development

• 50% Client Maintenance & Relationship Management

You will be supported by a strong infrastructure, including dedicated paraplanning, administration and a proactive internal marketing team that provides regular inbound lead opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and developing an existing portfolio of high-net-worth clients

• Delivering holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, retirement and protection

• Building and maintaining long-term client relationships

• Developing new business through internal marketing-generated leads

• Attending client meetings across London and surrounding areas

• Identifying and implementing planning opportunities to grow AUM

• Working closely with paraplanning and administrative teams to deliver a seamless client experience

• Ensuring all advice meets FCA regulatory and compliance standards

• Maintaining accurate client records and ongoing review processes

• Contributing to the continued growth of the London client base

Requirements

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)

• Proven experience as a Financial Adviser / Independent Financial Adviser

• Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and holistic financial planning

• Comfortable managing both existing clients and new business opportunities

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills

• Commercial mindset with a focus on sustainable AUM growth

• CAS status preferred but not essential
