Location: Lancashire (Fully Remote)Rate per day: £266.89 per dayWorking Arrangements: Full-Time ContractWe are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND EHCP Officer to join Lancashire's SEND Service on a fully remote basis.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled SEND professional with extensive EHCP experience to manage a caseload independently while supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process from assessment through to review.
  • Draft, amend and maintain high-quality EHCPs in line with statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate annual reviews, reassessments, amendments and cessation processes.
  • Analyse and interpret multi-agency assessments and professional advice.
  • Work collaboratively with families, schools and partner agencies to ensure person-centred planning.
  • Ensure children's and young people's views, wishes and aspirations are central to all decision-making.
  • Identify and specify appropriate educational provision to support positive outcomes and preparation for adulthood.
  • Maintain compliance with SEND legislation, statutory timescales and local procedures.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience working within SEND and EHCP services.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and statutory processes.
  • Proven experience drafting and amending EHCPs to a high standard.
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong partnership-working and stakeholder engagement skills
