Defining and documenting UK payroll business requirements and statutory compliance requirements.
Providing payroll expertise and functional guidance to development teams, including the creation of payroll scenarios and calculation examples.
Supporting the design, review, and validation of payroll functionality to ensure legislative compliance and business accuracy.
Executing and coordinating functional and integration testing for payroll developments and legal changes.
Supporting product delivery activities for UK payroll solutions, including SF Payroll and on-premise payroll offerings.
Contributing to regulatory and year-end payroll deliverables, including topics such as P60 requirements, FPS-related developments, and associated testing activities.
Acting as a liaison between business experts, product management, and development teams to ensure the accurate implementation of UK payroll requirements.
Skills:
The person should have in-depth End to End business knowledge of UK Payroll Processing.
Also has the ability to manually calculate all UK Statutory deductions, for example Tax/NI/Court Orders/Student Loans and Pensions/PAE, these are only examples.
The person has experience in writing specifications that are used as a basis for software delivery.
The professional needs to discuss with engineering team about the requirements and is also able to validate a solution by testing it. (min 10 years experience)
