A fantastic opportunity for an Employment Lawyer to move away from practice and join an established professional services business in a predominantly remote role. Based remotely across England, you will advise a varied client base on the full range of employment law matters, with office attendance required just twice per month.

Description

The Employment Lawyer will be:

Providing practical and commercially focused employment law advice to a varied portfolio of employer clients

Advising on disciplinary matters, grievances, poor performance, capability, sickness absence, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE and general HR matters

Drafting bespoke employment contracts, policies, procedures and other employee documentation

Delivering consultancy services including investigations, consultation processes, formal hearings and employment law training

Managing a broad caseload of contentious and non contentious employment matters and supporting clients with Employment Tribunal matters where required

Profile

The Employment Lawyer should be:

A solicitor or CILEx Practitioner with strong employment law experience

Experienced in advising employers on a broad range of employment law and employee relations matters

Commercially minded with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic and solutions focused advice

Confident managing their own client relationships and a varied caseload

Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team

Experienced in Employment Tribunal matters would be advantageous, although this is not essential

Comfortable participating in an on call rota providing advice to clients outside standard working hours

Job Offer

The successful Employment Lawyer will receive a salary of up to £55,000 alongside an exceptionally flexible working arrangement.

The role is predominantly remote, with office attendance required just twice per month, giving you significantly more flexibility than most traditional legal roles.

You will also have the opportunity to work directly with a broad range of businesses, developing your commercial understanding and gaining exposure beyond traditional legal advisory work through client training, investigations, consultations and formal hearings.
