Job Title: Senior Finance Business Partner (Permanent)
Hours: 37 hours per week (to be worked flexibly in line with business needs)
Annual Salary: £55,000 per annum (Plus *Casual User Mileage Allowance)
Location: Based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive, value-focused finance professional to join our Finance team. This opportunity offers the chance to play a visible and influential role in supporting key departments, helping colleagues make confident decisions, manage budgets effectively and deliver meaningful organisational outcomes.
The role will work closely with the Development team at an exciting time for the Trust, as we continue to grow our development programme and deliver more homes in the local area.
The successful candidate will oversee the Treasury function, support business planning and act as a trusted link between Finance and the Development team. They will lead on budgets, forecasts and management accounts, while providing clear insight to support strong financial planning and performance. This is a varied role with real scope to add value, including involvement in month-end and year-end processes, performance monitoring, forecasting and the development of financial models.
Alongside business partnering, the role will form a key part of the Treasury team, leading on covenant monitoring and regulatory returns, as well as supporting financial statements, audit processes, finance systems development and wider improvement projects. The post holder will provide advice, constructive challenge and insight to help ensure resources are used effectively, financial governance remains strong and services continue to improve.
We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with relevant finance experience, strong analytical skills and the confidence to build effective relationships across the organisation.
What Will You Do?
· Lead the Treasury team and ensure strong reporting, cash flow monitoring, covenant compliance and regulatory returns.
· Provide operational and strategic financial support to Developments and Lettings.
· Act as a key link between Finance and operational teams, helping colleagues understand financial performance and make informed decisions.
· Support on Business Planning and the FFR
· Lead budget setting, business planning, forecasting and financial reporting for relevant departments.
· Support month-end and year-end processes, ensuring accurate financial information is delivered to agreed timescales.
· Work closely with budget holders to monitor performance, understand variances and identify opportunities to improve value for money.
· Support the Development team, including cash flow reviews, appraisals analysis, contractor due diligence, fixed asset records and grant reporting.
· Support on the financial statements, audit processes, finance systems development and wider continuous improvement projects.
· Provide constructive financial advice, challenge and insight to strengthen financial governance, risk management and decision-making.
