Job Opportunity: Adults Team Manager - Trafford Council (Peripatetic, 40ph, Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid - Talbot Road, Manchester, M32 0TH
Rate: 40 per hour

Role Overview:
Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting an experienced Adults Team Manager to work across Trafford Council's community social work teams. This peripatetic role involves supporting multiple neighbourhood teams (Sale, Partington, Altrincham, Trafford Town Hall), managing waiting lists, supervising staff, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support neighbourhood services, ensuring strategic planning and service quality.
• Collaborate with commissioning colleagues, partner agencies, and third sector organisations.
• Oversee complex safeguarding cases and support staff development.
• Analyse performance data to improve service delivery and preventative approaches.
• Assist Service Manager with service management and delivery in line with legislation and departmental priorities.

Requirements:

• Team Manager-level experience in adult social care.
• Skilled in supervision, independent working, and using data to inform decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Registered social worker (CQSW, CSS, DipSW, Degree in Social Work, or equivalent) with BIA or Practice Educator qualification.
• Car owner with full driving license; enhanced DBS required.
