Head of Family Solicitor - Suffolk - 8+ PQE - Hybrid - &;60,000-80,000

An opportunity has arisen to join an established Suffolk law firm in a senior position within its Family team. This role would suit an existing Head of Department or an ambitious senior lawyer looking to progress into a leadership role within the next year or so.

With offices across Suffolk and some home-working flexibility, the firm can offer a choice of office locations alongside the opportunity to shape the future of its family law practice.

The role will involve:

• Advising clients on divorce and separation matters.
• Handling complex financial settlements.
• Managing child arrangements matters.
• Drafting and advising on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
• Building strong client relationships and delivering clear, empathetic and commercially sound advice.
• Taking responsibility for the development and growth of the Family team, appropriate to your experience and level of seniority.

About you

You'll ideally have around 8 or more years' PQE in family law, with strong technical expertise across divorce, financial remedy and children matters.

You may already be leading a department, or be a senior solicitor with the ambition and ability to step into a leadership role in the near future. You'll bring sound judgement, excellent communication skills and a commitment to developing both client relationships and colleagues.
